On 19 Oct 2011, Xuan asked to go to Universal Studio but there was not enough time as I needed to fetch Yu after the enrichment class. I told Xuan to do Window Arts at Vivocity but he insisted to go to Sentosa. I then brought him to ride monorail to and fro Vivocity. It was already 5.50pm and we needed to leave. Here came Xuan crying insisting that he wanted to “squeeze the paint” which was how I described the Window Arts to him earlier.
I thought this is just one instance and did not record it into his monthly milestone write-up. But it happened again.
On 28 Nov 2011, I took childcare leave so that we can have family outing as hubby was back in Singapore. But Yu wanted to fish prawn and Xuan insisted to go to Universal Studio. I tried to convince Xuan to go fishing but he insisted to go to US. After eating his favourite snack and watching a performance, we rushed back to Vivocity. On the way back, Xuan started making noise, saying that he wanted to go catch the fish. :-( Hmmm, this is the second time that Xuan behaves in this way.
Xuan wants the best of both worlds.
